The IPTV provider Canada deserves: clear rules.
What you get from your IPTV provider
Nothing hidden. These are the rules we work by.
You pay once for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, in Canadian dollars, by card or PayPal.
Nothing renews by itself. When your plan ends, you decide.
Your Xtream Codes or M3U link is e-mailed as soon as payment is confirmed.
One screen plays at a time. More simultaneous screens only on request, with conditions given upfront.
Players come from your device’s official store. We never ask you to install anything from outside it.
By e-mail and WhatsApp, in English and French, 7 days a week. Contact us.
Six rules, and what each one changes for you
A rule only helps if you can see how it plays out on an ordinary weeknight. Below, each rule sits next to its practical effect on your order, your TV and your bank statement.
| Our rule | What this means for you | Where it is explained |
|---|---|---|
| One payment in Canadian dollars | You see the full cost of the period before you confirm. No monthly line appears later on your card or PayPal history. | Paying your IPTV provider |
| No automatic renewal | Nothing is stored to bill you again. When the period ends, access stops and the next step is your call. | Our commitments as a provider |
| Access e-mailed within minutes | You can usually set up the same evening you order, without waiting for a technician or a parcel. | How activation works |
| One simultaneous connection | The login can sit on several devices in your home. Only one of them plays at any given moment. | What is included in the service |
| Players from official stores | You install a player the normal way, from the store built into your TV, box or phone. We never send installer files. | Apps |
| Support 7 days a week | A person replies by e-mail or WhatsApp, in English or French, weekends included. | Support |
Why publish rules at all? Because most disappointment with IPTV comes from surprises, not from the picture. Someone thinks they bought four screens and finds out they have one. Someone expects a monthly charge to stop and discovers it never started, or the other way round. Someone is told to install a file from a random website and later regrets it. Each of our rules exists to remove one of those surprises before you pay.
The rules are also the same for every customer. There is no secret version for people who ask harder, and no special deal that quietly changes what a plan includes. If a situation is not covered here, such as a second simultaneous screen, support tells you the conditions in writing before you order, so you can decide with all the facts on the table.

Read the rules the way you read a lease
You do not need legal training to check a provider. You need five minutes and a short list. Look for the cost and the currency, the renewal behaviour, the number of screens, the delivery method and the support channels. If any of those five is vague, ask before paying.
Our five answers are on this page and repeated on the commitments page, so you can compare them with any other offer you are weighing.
- Cost shown in Canadian dollars on the plans page
- Renewal: none, ever
- Screens: one at a time per plan
- Delivery: login by e-mail within minutes
- Support: e-mail and WhatsApp, 7 days a week
If a rule matters to you, it should be readable before checkout, not discovered after it.

Look at the second table first. Every row in it reads the same across the three columns, and that is deliberate: the commercial terms never depend on the pack. Only the first table moves, and it describes the library. So the real question is not which pack is “best” but which library matches the screen in your living room and the way your household watches.
Premium: the sensible default
A Full HD set, a bedroom TV, a cottage screen on Wi-Fi. A broad channel list and a large film shelf, without paying for depth you may never browse.
VIP Premium: for the series household
The biggest series count of the three. It suits homes where each person follows their own shows and the evening is spent in the on-demand section.
Ultimate 4K: for a real 4K chain
Worth it when the TV, the device, the HDMI port and the connection can all carry 4K. Plan 25 Mbps for that screen.
Looking for one particular language? What we can state is that the library carries French-language and international content. Beyond that, write to support first. You get a straight reply, and you pay only after you know.
Current prices for every pack and duration sit on the IPTV subscription page, and the IPTV subscription price guide explains what the price covers and what it does not. We avoid quoting amounts elsewhere on the site so that you never read an outdated figure.
Picking a duration without second-guessing it
The duration changes how long access lasts and the cost per month. It never changes the pack, the screens or the support you get.
Start short. One month shows how your own TV, your own Wi-Fi and your own habits behave with real evenings of viewing.
Then: read the 1-month plan pageThree or six months cover a stretch of the year without committing you to the rest. Nothing renews when it ends.
Then: compare durations on the plans pageTwelve months gives the lowest cost per month and one less thing to think about. Check your device and network first.
Then: read the 12-month plan pagePick the pack first, then the duration. A short first period on the right pack beats a long one on the wrong pack.
Then: ask support before orderingHere is how we suggest you think about it. The duration is a bet on two things: that your setup will keep working, and that you will keep watching. If you have never tested your TV with a player, or your Wi-Fi is known to struggle in the evening, you have no data yet, so a short period is the honest choice. Once you know that the picture holds up on a busy Friday night, a longer period simply lowers the cost per month.
Because nothing renews, a short period carries no hidden risk of being billed again. And because the rules are the same at every length, a long period does not tie you into anything other than the access you already paid for. Details live on the 1-month IPTV subscription and 12-month IPTV subscription pages.
How payment works
A single charge, in CAD, through a card or PayPal. The figure shown at checkout is the amount for the whole period. We do not keep a payment method on file to charge later. If you prefer to check a provider’s payment habits before buying, the payment guide lists the buyer-side safety checks we would run ourselves.
How activation works
Pick a plan and a duration, pay once by card or PayPal.
Your login arrives by e-mail within minutes. Details.
Enter it in your player — Xtream Codes or M3U — and you are live.
From checkout to the first channel, step by step
The three steps above, written out in full. This is what happens on our side and what you do on yours, in the order it happens.
- At checkout
You choose a pack and a period
First the pack, then the length of access. Use an e-mail address you can open on your phone, because that is where the login goes.
- Payment confirmed
The order is created
Card or PayPal confirms the single payment. From that point, your access is being prepared. You do not need to do anything else on the site.
- Within minutes
Your access e-mail arrives
Inside you find either three Xtream Codes fields (server URL, username, password) or a single M3U link. Keep the message: you will copy from it.
- Same evening
You add the login to a player
Install a player from your device’s official store, choose the Xtream Codes option and type the three fields. The lists start loading.
- End of the period
Access stops, nothing is charged
When the time runs out, the login stops working. If you want more, you place a new order, with the same or a different pack.
The fields you will find in the access e-mail. Copy them character for character, capitals included.
- Open the e-mail on your phone. Zoom on the server URL so you can read every character while you type on the TV.
- Install the player from the official store. Search for it by name in the store on your TV, box or phone, and install the official listing.
- Pick the Xtream Codes login type. It uses three short fields, which is easier with a remote than one long link.
- Type the three fields with care. Upper-case I and a small l look alike on many screens, as do the digit zero and a capital O. Keep any port number that follows the colon.
- Let the first sync finish. The player reads the channels, films and series once. Leave the remote alone until it stops loading.
- Load the TV guide. Ask the player to update its EPG, then compare a programme time with your own clock.
No e-mail after a few minutes? Check the spam and promotions folders, then search your mailbox for the address used at checkout. If it is still missing, write to support by e-mail or WhatsApp with that address, and we resend it. The activation guide covers the other cases.
Questions worth asking any IPTV supplier
IPTV provider Canada checklist: what to verify before you pay
Use the same questions on us and on anyone else. A provider with clear answers will not mind being asked.
| Ask the provider | A clear answer sounds like | Our answer |
|---|---|---|
| What do I pay, in which currency, and when? | One stated amount, one currency, one moment of payment | A single CAD charge at checkout, through card or PayPal |
| Does anything renew by itself? | A plain yes or no, written on the site | No. Access ends with the period you paid for |
| How many screens may stream together? | A number, not “unlimited” | One per plan; more only on request, with conditions given first |
| How and when do I receive access? | A delivery method and a realistic delay | By e-mail, within minutes of a confirmed payment |
| Which app do I need, and where does it come from? | Named players from official stores | Six players, all from your device’s official store |
| Who answers when something breaks? | Named channels, days and languages | E-mail and WhatsApp, 7 days a week, English and French |
| Is the language I need included? | A specific answer, or an honest “ask us” | French-language and international content; ask support for anything else |
A good provider answers each of these in writing, in a sentence or two, without asking you to “trust” anything. If you have to dig through social media posts or wait for a salesperson to find out how many screens you are buying, that tells you how the relationship will feel once you have paid.

A short evening routine
Open each provider’s site in its own tab. Write the seven questions down the left side of a page and one column per provider. Fill in only what is written on the site, not what you assume. Empty cells are your follow-up questions.
Then send those questions by e-mail or chat. Two things count: the delay before a reply comes back, and whether the reply addresses what you asked. The guide to choosing an IPTV supplier walks through this routine in more detail, and 10 questions to ask an IPTV provider gives the full list with model answers.
Walk away if you see these. A request to install a file from a website instead of an official store. Promises of “unlimited” screens with no stated number. Prices with no currency, or a payment method you cannot trace. Logins handed out in public groups. No written rules on renewal. Any one of these is enough reason to stop and look elsewhere.
Rules read, questions answered?
Line up the packs and the lengths, then watch your inbox: the login follows shortly after payment.
Works on what you already own
Devices, players and your login: three separate pieces
Most setup confusion comes from mixing up these three. We provide only one of them, and we say so.
The device is yours. It can be a PC, a Fire TV Stick, a Samsung or LG smart TV, an Apple TV, an Android TV or Google TV box, an iPhone, an iPad, or an Android phone or tablet. We do not sell hardware, so we have nothing to push you towards. The player is made by an independent publisher and comes from your device’s official store. The login is the only part we supply, and it works in any of the players listed below.
| Your device | Players to try first | Our setup guide |
|---|---|---|
| Fire TV Stick | IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, XCIPTV | IPTV on Firestick |
| Android TV or Google TV box | IBO Player, TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro | IPTV on Android TV box |
| Samsung or LG smart TV | IBO Player, then Smart IPTV | IPTV on smart TVs |
| Apple TV, iPhone, iPad | IPTV Smarters Pro, GSE Smart IPTV | IPTV on Apple TV |
| Android phone or tablet | XCIPTV, IPTV Smarters Pro | IPTV Smarters Pro |
| PC | Any player able to read our login formats | M3U playlist setup |

How to choose your player
Ask three things. Which device family do you have? Some players exist only on certain stores. Is your evening mostly live TV, or mostly the on-demand shelves? Grid-style players such as TiviMate feel like a classic channel guide, while library-style players such as IPTV Smarters Pro make browsing easier. And who holds the remote? A simpler player is often kinder to a parent or grandparent.
Smart TV players such as IBO Player work with your TV’s MAC address and a device key, which their own guide explains.
We are independent from app publishers
Some publishers charge for a licence or an activation inside their app. That purchase is outside our order, so check the current price on the app’s official website. The login we send behaves identically in all six players, and switching player later never touches your plan.
Internet speed per screen, in three numbers
Speed is counted for each screen that is actually playing. Learn these three figures and you can check any home in a minute.
Speed to plan for one playing screen
Read them as needs at the device, measured where the device sits, not what your internet plan advertises at the modem. Between the router and a TV in the basement, Wi-Fi loses a lot through floors, walls and appliances. So measure where you watch. If your TV or box has a speed test in its official store, run it there in the evening, when the household is online.
| Playing at the same moment | Speed to plan where you watch | Included in one plan |
|---|---|---|
| A bedroom TV in HD | 10 Mbps | Yes |
| The main TV in Full HD | 15 Mbps | Yes |
| A large 4K TV | 25 Mbps | Yes |
| Main TV in Full HD while a tablet plays in HD | 25 Mbps | Needs a request first |
| A 4K TV and a Full HD TV at once | 40 Mbps | Needs a request first |
In the bottom two lines the figures are simply added, because two screens stream together. A plan includes one simultaneous connection, so those cases need a request to support first. Remember the rest of the house too: video calls, game updates and phones all share the same line.
Use a cable from the router. It is the single most useful change for a steady picture, especially for 4K.
Then: test again on the busiest eveningJoin the 5 GHz band near the router, and keep 2.4 GHz for rooms further away where range matters more than speed.
Then: move the router into the openCheck the full chain: a 4K TV, a 4K-capable device, an HDMI 2.0 port or better, and 25 Mbps for that screen.
Then: read the 4K quality guide- Speed measured where the TV is, not next to the router
- Test run in the evening, not at noon
- Cable used where the device allows it
- Router placed high, central and away from the microwave
- Other heavy uses paused during the first test
More on picture quality is in 4K quality and bandwidth, and if the picture keeps pausing, IPTV buffering goes through the fixes in order.
One connection per plan: how the rule works at home
This is the rule people ask about most. Here it is in practical terms, with no grey zone.
Install it on several devices
The family room TV, a stick upstairs, a phone for the commute: one login can live on all of them.
Play on one at a time
Just one of those devices streams at a time. Exit the player on one before pressing play on the next.
Ask before you need two
For two screens playing together, write to support. You get the conditions and price before ordering.
Your household only
The login is for the home that ordered it. Another household orders its own plan.
What this means for you in daily life: if your family tends to watch in two rooms on the same evening, one plan will cause friction, and you should ask support about a second connection before you buy rather than after. If one person watches at a time, or the household shares one main TV, a single connection covers you, and the login on the other devices is ready whenever the main screen is not in use.
If two devices try to play at once, the second one may show a connection error. That is the rule working, not a fault. Quit the player on the device that was already playing, then retry. The IPTV can’t connect guide lists this case next to the other login errors.
Do not share your login outside your home. Posting it in a group chat or handing it to friends breaks the one-connection rule, causes errors on your own TV and puts your access at risk. If someone else wants the service, they can order their own plan.
When something goes wrong: the first checks
Most problems are solved in a few minutes once you match the symptom to the right fix. Start here, then open the matching help page.
Re-type the three fields from the e-mail, check capitals and the port number, and make sure no other device is playing.
Then: open IPTV can’t connectRestart the router and the device, switch to a cable or the 5 GHz band, and try a lower quality for a moment.
Then: open IPTV bufferingTry another channel, restart the player, then change the video decoder setting in the player if it offers one.
Then: open IPTV black screenCheck the time zone on the device first, then adjust the time shift in the player by whole hours.
Then: open TV guide setup- Restart in the right order. Router first, wait until its lights settle, then the TV or box, then the player.
- Check the period. If your plan has just ended, the login stops by design. Look at the date of your order e-mail.
- Close other sessions. Make sure the player is not still open on another device in the house.
- Update the player. Install pending updates from the official store, then reopen it.
- Write down what you see. Note the exact error text or take a photo of the screen before contacting support.

Where each problem is handled
The help hub sorts issues by what you see on screen, so you do not need to know the cause. Login errors and expired access go to IPTV can’t connect. Pauses and loading circles go to IPTV buffering. Sound with no picture, or no picture at all, goes to IPTV black screen. Wrong programme times go to TV guide setup.
Each page goes from the quickest check to the slowest, so stop as soon as the picture is back.
An IPTV provider in Canada, explained
An IPTV provider Canada households can rely on should be transparent about four things: what you pay and when, how many screens can play at once, how fast you get access, and how support works. Northline answers all four upfront: a one-time payment in CAD, one simultaneous connection per plan, access by e-mail within minutes and support 7 days a week. Read our commitments or the questions to ask any provider.
Our IPTV subscription comes in three levels: the Premium Pack, the VIP Premium Pack and the Ultimate 4K Pack, each for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
On legality: the technology is legal; whether a service is legal depends on the broadcasting rights it holds, so check before subscribing.
Is Northline the right IPTV provider for your home
A transparent provider should also tell you when it is not the right fit. Here is our honest version.
A good fit if
- You want to pay once and never watch for a renewal
- One screen plays at a time in your home
- Your devices have an official store with one of the six players
- You like rules written down before you pay
- French-language or international content suits you
- You want answers in English or French, any day of the week
Think twice if
- Several rooms often watch at the same moment
- You need a specific language and have not asked us yet
- Your connection cannot reach 10 Mbps where the TV is
- You want a provider that also sells the hardware
- You expect us to set up the player app on your behalf
The “think twice” column is not a list of reasons to leave. It is a list of things to sort out first. Several screens? Ask support for the conditions before ordering. A particular language? Ask before ordering. A weak connection? Run a cable, move the router or start with a short period to see how it behaves. Each of these has a clear next step, and none of them should be discovered after payment.
We would rather lose an order to a clear answer than win one with a vague promise.
If you want the bigger picture before choosing, the IPTV provider hub explains who we are and what we provide, and IPTV service in Canada breaks a good service down into its parts and shows how ours covers each one. The service hub then goes into packs, screens and speed in detail.
How our support works, and how to get a full answer fast
Support is part of what you pay for. Here is how to reach it and what to include so the first reply already solves the problem.
Reach us on +33 6 44 65 43 13. Attach a picture of what your TV shows; it saves a lot of back and forth.
Send it from the same address you gave at checkout. We match it to your order at once.
7 days a week
Saturdays and Sundays too, which is often when a new setup happens.
English and French
Write in the language you are most comfortable with.

What to send in your first message
- The e-mail address used for the order
- Your device and the player you use
- What you pressed and what the screen showed
- How the device is connected: cable, 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz
- The help-page steps you have already done
Questions before ordering are welcome too: whether your TV will cope with 4K, whether a language is in the catalogue, or how a second simultaneous screen would work. The support hub gathers the common answers, contact us lists every way to reach the team, and about Northline IPTV explains who we are.
IPTV provider Canada glossary: the terms in your e-mail and menus
The words you will meet in your access e-mail, in player settings and on this site, explained without jargon.
- IPTV
- Television delivered over your internet connection and played in an app, instead of through a cable or satellite box.
- Provider
- The company that supplies the login and the catalogue. That is us. The player app comes from someone else.
- Player
- The app on your screen. It takes our login, then lays out live TV, films and series. Get it from your device’s official store.
- Xtream Codes
- Our usual login, split into a server URL, a username and a password. Short fields, so remote-friendly.
- M3U link
- A single long address carrying the full playlist. Useful on a computer, or where a player wants a link and nothing else.
- EPG
- Short for electronic programme guide. It is the schedule view listing each channel’s current and upcoming shows.
- Time shift
- A player option that slides the schedule forward or back in steps of one hour until it lines up with your clock.
- Simultaneous connection
- A stream in progress. A plan covers one at a time; a second needs a request to support.
- Buffering
- The pause while the player waits for more video, usually caused by the network between router and device.
- MAC address
- A hardware identifier some smart TV players use, together with a device key, to link your playlist to your TV.
- Period
- The 1, 3, 6 or 12 months you paid for. Access stops at the end; nothing renews.
- HDMI 2.0
- The HDMI version to look for on the TV port and cable when you want a 4K picture.
Deep dive: picking between Xtream Codes and M3U
The content behind the two formats is identical. With Xtream Codes, the player asks the server separately for live channels, films, series and the guide, which is why these players show tidy categories and posters. An M3U link returns everything as one playlist file, which some smart TV and PC players prefer. With nothing but a remote in hand, the three short Xtream fields are quicker to enter. Keep either one private: anyone who has it can use your connection. Details are on the Xtream Codes setup and M3U playlist setup pages, and the whole route is in setup.

FAQ
What makes Northline a transparent IPTV provider?
Our rules are published: one-time payment, no automatic renewal, one connection per plan, access within minutes and support 7 days a week.
Is the subscription paid monthly?
No. You pay once for the duration you choose: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, in Canadian dollars.
How many screens can I use?
One screen plays at a time per plan. For more at the same time, ask support for the conditions before ordering.
What do I receive after payment?
An e-mail with your Xtream Codes login (server URL, username, password) or an M3U link, within minutes in most cases.
Can I talk to someone before buying?
Yes, by e-mail or WhatsApp, in English or French, 7 days a week.
Which pack should I choose?
For most Full HD screens, Premium. For homes deep into series, VIP Premium. For a complete 4K chain with 25 Mbps spare for that TV, Ultimate 4K.
What happens when my plan ends?
The login stops working on the last day and no charge follows. To carry on, order again, picking any pack and length.
Can I install the login on more than one device?
Yes. Add it to every device in your home that you like; just keep to one stream at a time.
Do you provide the player app?
No. Players come from your device’s official store and are made by independent publishers. Where a publisher sells its own licence, check the current price on the app’s official website.
What internet speed do I need?
Count 10 Mbps per HD stream, 15 Mbps per Full HD stream and 25 Mbps per 4K stream, tested at the TV. Two streams at once means adding both figures.
Does the catalogue include the language I need?
French-language and international content is in the library. For another language, check with support first; we reply plainly before you spend anything.
Where can I see current prices?
On the plans page, in Canadian dollars, for every pack and duration. We do not quote amounts elsewhere so you never read an outdated figure.
Clear rules. Pick your plan.
One payment, one connection, access within minutes.
